RingsFlow Terms of Service
The contract governing your use of RingsFlow (version 1.2). This document covers the relationship between you and the operator of the service.
1. Who operates RingsFlow
RingsFlow is operated by CONSCIOUS PATHS LTD, a Private limited company registered in the United Kingdom, registered with Companies House under number 17290124, with its registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.
- General contact: hello@ringsflow.com
- Legal matters and illegal content notices: hello@ringsflow.com
- Data protection: hello@ringsflow.com
- Moderation and appeals: hello@ringsflow.com
DSA contact points are SEPARATE. For users, the contact point under Article 12 DSA is: hello@ringsflow.com. For Member State authorities, the European Commission and the Board, the contact point under Article 11 DSA is: hello@ringsflow.com. Communication with authorities is possible in these languages: čeština, slovenština, angličtina (Czech, Slovak, English). A legal representative under Article 13 DSA is named only once a written mandate exists; until then no representative is stated in these documents.
2. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Service form a contract. During registration you must expressly agree to them. Without that agreement, no account can be created.
Using the service also requires that you confirm you have read the Privacy Policy and the Community & Moderation Policy. Those confirmations are not contractual consent to data processing — processing is governed by the Privacy Policy and by law.
Where the law requires explicit consent for a specific feature (for example special category data or optional cookies), we ask for it separately, clearly, and you can withdraw it at any time.
3. Age — adults only (18+)
RingsFlow is a service for adults. Only a person aged 18 or over may create and use an account. By registering you confirm that you are 18 or older.
If we establish that an account belongs to a person under 18, we will block the account and process the personal data only as necessary to close it (see the Privacy Policy).
An in-product age confirmation is only one element. Where specific regulatory age-assurance duties apply (for example under the UK Online Safety Act), we implement further measures described in our internal risk assessments; this sentence is not by itself a claim of compliance with those duties.
4. Your account and security
- You are responsible for your account, your password and activity on it. You may not transfer your account to another person.
- You may not create accounts to circumvent a block, a restriction or account termination.
- Information you provide must be accurate. For professional and partner profiles this also applies to business identity and to your authority to act for that business.
- We may refuse or terminate an account if these Terms or the Community & Moderation Policy are breached — the process and appeal options are described in Article 8 below.
5. Your content and the licence you grant
You remain the owner of the content you create and upload (posts, comments, messages, media, course texts, Rings). These Terms do not transfer ownership of your content to us.
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to your content only to the extent necessary to run the service, specifically to:
- host and store content on our infrastructure,
- display content to you and to other users according to your visibility settings,
- distribute content inside the service (feed, Rings, profiles, Live, Studio),
- process content technically — generating thumbnails, variants and optimised image and video formats,
- transcode and adapt media for different device types,
- provide automated translations (see Article 6),
- back up, restore and ensure data integrity,
- operate platform features (recommendations, search, new-content notifications).
The licence ends to the extent we no longer operate the content — typically after you delete the content or your account, subject to statutory retention duties and technical backups (see the Privacy Policy).
You are responsible for holding the rights to the content you publish and for ensuring it does not infringe third-party rights or the law.
6. Automated translations and automated processing
To enable communication between users, RingsFlow may automatically translate user content — posts, comments, messages and other text. Automated translation is a technical aid and may contain inaccuracies or distort meaning.
The legally binding version is always the original content in the language in which it was created. An automated translation is not our statement about the content, and we accept no liability for decisions taken solely on the basis of a translation.
Some features may use automated processing (for example content ranking, notifications, text screening, or flagging risky content for human review). If you interact directly with an automated system, we will disclose that it is automated unless it is obvious from the context. See Articles 8 and 9.
7. Community rules and prohibited content
The binding content and conduct rules are set out in the Community & Moderation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Prohibited content includes illegal content, content endangering personal safety, and content infringing third-party rights.
We do not prohibit opinions. We moderate illegal content and breaches of clearly described platform rules. We treat content as illegal where it is illegal under applicable law, in particular the law of the United Kingdom and the law of the state in which the content has its effect.
8. Moderation, measures and appeals
Moderation may be automated, human, or combined.
- Automated mechanisms mainly handle spam filtering, detection of suspicious patterns, duplicate detection and flagging risky content for human review.
- Human review decides on visibility restrictions, content removal, feature restrictions, account suspension and account termination.
- Measures may include: hiding content from public areas, reducing reach, removing content, restricting messaging, restricting media uploads, temporarily suspending an account, permanently terminating an account.
Where a measure restricts your content or account, we tell you why. The statement of reasons includes: what content or account was restricted, what measure was taken, the reason, whether it concerned illegal content or a breach of these Terms, the legal or policy basis, whether automated means were used, and how you can appeal.
Appeals: you may appeal a measure within 6 months of the notification, using the address in Article 1 or the in-product form. Appeals are reviewed by a person who was not involved in the original decision. We inform you of the outcome without undue delay, normally within 14 days.
Some DSA duties (for example those applying only to platforms above the small-enterprise thresholds) may not apply to us. We provide the appeal process described above regardless.
9. Reporting illegal content
If you believe content on the service is illegal, you can report it. The reporting mechanism is available to everyone — including people without an account.
A notice must contain at least:
- an explanation of why the content is, in your view, illegal,
- a precise location of the content — a link (URL), object identifier or another unambiguous reference,
- your name and contact email address (for notices from persons who wish to be informed of the outcome),
- a confirmation that you submit the notice in good faith and that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
We confirm receipt and record the notice. We inform the reporter of the decision and its reasons. The decision can be appealed using the same process as in Article 8.
Misuse of the reporting mechanism (for example systematically unfounded notices) may lead to restrictions on submitting notices.
10. Copyright and intellectual property
If you believe content on the service infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, report it to the address in Article 1 or via the reporting form, identifying the work, the disputed content and your contact details.
We review notices and may terminate the account of a repeat infringer. A user whose content was removed may appeal using the process in Article 8.
11. Paid features
The service contains or will contain paid memberships, courses and other paid features. In addition to these Terms, paid features are governed by the Paid Services & Subscription Terms, which cover price, billing, renewal, cancellation, refunds and access after a subscription ends.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details.
12. Liability
We provide the service with reasonable skill and care. We are not responsible for content or conduct of other users, nor for third-party content.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law, nor any liability that cannot lawfully be limited (for example for intent, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or for breach of a consumer contract).
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, or loss arising from decisions you took based on other users’ content. Community content is not professional advice — in particular it is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice.
13. Termination and changes to the service
- You may delete your account at any time in settings.
- We may change, restrict or discontinue the service or individual features; for material changes we give reasonable advance notice, and for paid features we follow the Paid Services & Subscription Terms.
- We may update these Terms. We notify you of material changes and each version states its effective date. If you disagree with a change, you may delete your account.
14. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. This does not affect mandatory consumer protections of the law of your habitual residence in the EU/EEA or the United Kingdom, which cannot be excluded by contract.
Please contact us first using the details in Article 1 — most disputes are resolved by agreement. As a consumer you may also turn to the competent consumer dispute body or to a court under the rules of your country.
The EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform ceased operation on 20 July 2025 and we no longer reference it. RingsFlow does not commit to participating in any particular alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme unless legally obliged to do so.
15. Final provisions
If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force. We record the contract and related consents together with the version shown to you at the time of acceptance.
